Highlights

The LIC CEO Forum is a great chance for chief executives from small to midsize life insurance companies and fraternals to get together in a unique peer networking retreat. 

The CEO Forum will begin late afternoon on Tuesday, August 26 (plan on 4:30 p.m. departure from the hotel lobby) for our outing to the Benziger Family Winery, where we'll enjoy a tour, wine tasting reception, and dinner in the underground wine cave. The CEO Forum will wrap up at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 28. (For LIC Board and Past Board Members, there will be a Board meeting Tuesday morning.)

Featured presentations include "Insights on Executive/Senior Leader Succession Strategies for Small to Medium Life Insurance Companies," by Steven R. Lang, President, Lang Consulting, LLC, and a panel discussion on Leadership Succession Experiences. "Strategies for Leveraging AI for LIC Companies ― Enabling Sustained Success" will be presented by Kartik Sakthivel, Ph.D., VP & Chief Information Officer of LIMRA and LOMA.

CEO Roundtable discussion topics, requested by participants, include Annuity Distribution and Growth, Economic Volatility, Reinsurance Strategies, Talent Management/Compensation, Regulatory Issues, Executive Succession Planning - Sourcing Talent and Creating an Effective Development and Retention Plan, Hiring a Deputy or COO, Pros and Cons of Outsourcing Admin Functions, Hybrid Distribution Models, D2C Lessons Learned, Field Force Modernization and ROI on Digital Tools, Leveraging Technology, Employee Growth/Recruiting, and Product Management. 

Community Engagement: This year's LIC CEO Summer Forum will be providing an opportunity to leave a lasting impact in the local community through donations to Fire Safe Sonoma. More Information

Cancellation Policy

LL Global Cancellation Policy:

If a scheduled meeting or event is cancelled by LL Global (LIMRA/LOMA/LIC) for any reason, LL Global shall refund any registration fees that have been paid by the registrant. Under no circumstances, however, shall LL Global be liable to the registrant for any other expenses including, but not limited to, airfare and hotel expenses incurred by the registrant.
 

Registrant Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations/substitutions and refund requests must be received in writing - please submit your request to customer.service@limra.com. Cancellations received before August 5, 2025, will be refunded, less a $75 processing fee. Cancellations received from August 5 to August 19 will be refunded, less a $375 processing and administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after August 19, 2025.
