Hear what other companies are experiencing and share practical solutions to common challenges. Topics suggested for this meeting so far include:
- How can AI be used in Accounting?
- How to make a financial statement results presentation not boring?
- What are companies' average RBC ratios? Do they incorporate the RBC ratio within the ERM?

- What are the best Accounts Payable software available for small to medium size insurance companies?
- Who's using Workiva as a reporting tool? Do you have someone internally or do you contract with someone to write the reports? Do any companies use Workiva for reporting data from ID3 administrative software?

In addition, Larson & Company will provide a presentation offering 1 hr CPE, discussing the impacts on the Asset Valuation Reserve (AVR) and the Interest Maintenance Reserve (IMR) account balances due to the increase in interest rates and the current investment market conditions. There have been on-going discussions in recent NAIC meetings about how to account for negative IMR and if that can be recorded as an admitted asset or not. Bring your questions!
Douglas Brown of Trilogy Actuarial Solutions will explore the development of a performance management dashboard for interest sensitive liabilities.
Tip Tipton of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will discuss upcoming NAIC changes in accounting standards.
The meeting is open to insurance company executives, with a discounted registration fee for LIC members. Affiliate Members/Vendors must sponsor the meeting in order to attend. Find out about LIC sponsorship opportunities.
