The LIC Technology Committee Conference Call is a chance for executives from small-to-midsize life insurance companies and fraternals, and relevant service providers, to get together in a unique peer networking meeting. Join us to learn, share your thoughts, and get feedback from others involved in smaller-company IT.

This LIC Committee event is open to insurance company executives; Affiliate Members/Vendors must be a sponsor of the meeting in order to attend (see LIC sponsorship opportunities).

Topics for discussion are selected by participants, such as these from past meetings:

  • Who’s Using What: Applications/services used for Cybersecurity, Unclaimed Property, hardware/software refresh
  • New administration platform: key benefits/concerns to look for
  • Outsourcing: Which areas and what are the struggles/successes?
  • Cost and staffing of implementing new technologies
  • How are others dealing with hiring challenges and remote workers?

Registration

LIC Committee Meetings are open to insurance companies/fraternals. Vendors/service providers must be a meeting sponsor in order to attend.

Insurance Companies

  • LIC Member: $29
  • Nonmember: $44
  • Group Discount: After two paid registrations, use code GRPCOMP for the third and additional attendees to attend for free.
  • Fraternals: AFA Member Societies save $100 - register at the AFA Website. 

Affiliates / Vendors

  • Sponsorship will be billed separately (see LIC Sponsorships).
  • Conference Call Sponsorship Only: $75 LIC Member/$150 Nonmember
  • Technology Committee 2023 Sponsorship: $800 LIC Member/$1300 Nonmember
  • Register one included attendee with SPONSORINCLUDED code; additional attendees pay applicable Registration Fee

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations/substitutions and refund requests must be received in writing - please submit your request to customer.service@limra.com. A full refund is available until one day before the meeting, April 19, 2023). For cancellations received after that date, registration fees will not be refunded. If for any reason a meeting is cancelled, LIC will refund the total registration fee.
