The theme for the 2027 LIC Annual Conference is "Driving Transformation Through Strategic Insights." Small-to-midsize life insurers are seeing exciting new opportunities in the midst of technological advances, new consumer expectations and needs, and new ways of doing business. The LIC Annual Conference is the place to network, learn, and share ideas with peers at similar companies… to help inspire and shape strategies for success in 2027 and beyond. Coming together with top executives in a uniquely collegial environment, we can all benefit from shared knowledge and experience. We’ll hear from companies and individuals who have a unique perspective on growth and innovation, and we’ll engage in interactive sessions designed to send everyone home with practical ideas and valuable new connections.

Itinerary

The 2027 LIC Annual Conference begins Wednesday February 3 with the Opening Networking Reception at 6:00 p.m. Thursday February 4 is a full day with meeting sessions and the LIC Annual Banquet. The conference concludes at noon on Friday February 5.

Insurance company CEOs and presidents: Plan to come early for the LIC Winter CEO Forum, starting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 2.

The LIC Group Rate at Sawgrass Marriott is $279 per night single/double plus mandatory $25 resort fee, plus tax. This rate can be obtained through the reservation link above, until the cut-off date of Monday, January 11, 2027.

The resort fee includes enhanced high-speed internet, two complimentary welcome drinks at Alice & Pete's Pub & Lobby Bar, daily fitness classes at Sawgrass Spa, miniature golf, one-hour bicycle rental, access to the private Cabana Beach Club, complimentary shuttle service to/from the Cabana Beach Club and TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse and other locations, up to 1 mile off resort property, and one-year subscription to Golf Digest.

(The LIC room rate includes a rebate of $10 that will go to LIC's parent company, LL Global.)

Early arrival and late departures may be requested at the Group Room Rate at the time the reservation is submitted through the online reservation link, up to three days before and after the meeting dates, subject to availability.

Hotel check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. Onsite parking is available for $38 (valet) or $25 (self) per day.

Itinerary: You'll want to book your room and flight to arrive before the 6:00 p.m. reception on Wednesday February 3 and depart after the Annual Conference adjourns at noon on Friday February 5. (Arrive by Monday February 1 if attending the CEO Forum.)

Getting There: Sawgrass Marriott is located between Jacksonville and Historic St. Augustine. The closest airport is Jacksonville International Airport, about 34 miles away. The hotel does not provide airport transportation.
