The meeting is open to insurance company executives, with a discounted registration fee for LIC members, group discounts, and a discount for fraternal members of the American Fraternal Alliance. Affiliate Members/Vendors must be a sponsor in order to participate in this LIC Committee Meeting, limit one representative per company (see LIC sponsorship opportunities).
Highlights
The LIC Operations Committee Meeting is a chance for executives from small-to-midsize life insurance companies and fraternals, and relevant service providers, to get together in a unique peer networking meeting. Join us to learn, share your thoughts, and get feedback from others involved in smaller-company operations.
The meeting brings together 15-20 small-to-midsize life insurance company representatives and relevant vendors. The program includes:
- Operations Case Study by Security National Life, focusing on operational KPIs and efficiencies
- Obitdata: An Untapped Business Intelligence Source, presented by John Heald, Legacy.com
- Planning, Managing, Implementing, Reviewing: A Tech Platform Implementation, presented by Jes Vargas from Benekiva and Angela Daleske from Homesteaders Life Company
- Emtech/Catholic Life Insurance Case Study, presented by Sashia Godet from Emtech Group and Roxy Huron from Catholic Life
- Facilitated discussion topics including:
- Implications of AI for the future of life insurance and annuities
- What measures are organizations taking to mitigate fraud with AI being so prevalent?
- Incorporating technology into customer support through IVA/chatbots.
This is an in-person meeting. The itinerary begins at 2:00 pm Mountain Time on Wednesday, September 24 with attendee introductions and discussion before heading out to a hosted networking dinner. Thursday September 25 we'll meet in the morning for presentations and more discussion, and wrap up the program with lunch ending at 12:30 pm.
