Highlights

The LIC Marketing & Home Service Committee Meeting provides an opportunity to develop business relationships and share ideas with fellow marketing executives, as well as to see the headquarters of our host Kemper Life in St. Louis.

The meeting brings together dozens of small-to-midsize life insurance company representatives and relevant vendors. In addition, it's the only meeting in the industry for home service executives. The meeting will include speaker presentations as well as activity reports and facilitated discussion among the attendees.

The itinerary includes:

  • Tuesday, July 19 - Kick off reception/dinner
  • Wednesday, July 20 - Meeting 9a-3p CDT featuring Attendee Introductions, Facilitated Discussion on Marketing and Home Service topics, Kemper Life Case Study, and LexisNexis on New Data Sources, followed by dinner
  • Thursday, July 21 - Meeting 9-11a CDT featuring Covid & Mortality Insights from RGA, and thinktum on Customer Journey

The meeting is open to insurance company executives, with a discounted registration fee for LIC members, group discounts, and a discount for fraternal members of the American Fraternal Alliance. Affiliate Members/Vendors must sponsor the meeting in order to attend. Find out about LIC sponsorship opportunities.

Vaccination or Negative Test Requirement
(Remote Option Available)

Registration can be either in person or remote. Registration fees and discounts are the same - simply select your option in the registration form. For those attending in person, proof of Covid vaccination or negative test will be needed. See the Health & Safety section for details.

LIC Affiliate Members and other non-insurance companies must be a sponsor in order to attend LIC Committee events. Sponsorship ($800 Members / $1300 Nonmembers) includes one registration, additional representative registration fee is $150. Sign up your company by submitting this Sponsorship Form. The registration link will be provided upon receipt of the form.

Insurance Companies & Fraternals

Insurance company registration is $150 for LIC Members, $200 for LIMRA/LOMA Members, and $300 for Nonmembers. Insurance companies are eligible for a group discount - after the first two paid registrations any additional from the company can attend for 75% off (ask LIC for the group promo code)!

Fraternals: The American Fraternal Alliance is sponsoring $100 off registration for its fraternal organization members. Please email info@fraternalalliance.org to request the discount.

COVID-19 Vaccine/Test Requirement

This meeting will require in-person attendees to bring proof of full vaccination or negative Covid test using the provided CLEAR app.

The health and safety of our conference attendees is our top priority as we return to meeting in person. We are committed to holding our events in accordance with currently applicable CDC and local laws, rules, regulations, or guidance. This is a shared responsibility, and we ask that all attendees abide by the following guidelines and procedures.

By signing up to attend in person, you agree to: 

1. Prior to Event

  • Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (as defined by the CDC) OR a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival.
    • All registrants will be required to upload their vaccination information or negative COVID test results onto the CLEAR app we are providing at no charge.
    • CLEAR APP INSTRUCTIONS.
  • If you are aware that you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the two weeks prior to the meeting, or if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you DO NOT attend an in-person event.
  • Follow cleaning and safety procedures during your trip to maintain a safe travel environment (e.g., disinfecting surfaces, wearing a face covering, etc.).

2. On-Site at the Event

  • Follow any on-site mask requirements.
  • Adhere to social distance protocols.
  • Wash hands frequently throughout the meeting.
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • Comply with posted signage.
  • Self-monitor and report any symptoms to meeting organizers immediately.

3. Post Event

  • Notify event organizer if you test positive for COVID-19 up to 14 days after returning home.

How to Prepare for Air Travel

Your airline is the best source for personal safety protocols at the gate and on the airplane. Be sure to visit your airline website the week you are traveling and sign up for notifications related to your trip.
