Highlights
The LIC Annuity Committee Meeting is a chance for executives from small-to-midsize life insurance companies and fraternals, and relevant service providers, to get together in a unique peer networking meeting. Join us to learn, share your thoughts, and get feedback from other small companies involved in selling annuities.
Sample discussion topics include:
- Challenges companies are facing around annuity sales, and ways to help consumers better understand the products
- Why annuitants surrender and strategies for annuity conservation/retention
- Successful ways to build relationships with annuity agents, training and communication ideas
- Market and product trends (variable/index/fixed), latest and potential future indexed annuity features
- Strategies for profitability and competitiveness
The meeting brings together 15-20 small-to-midsize life insurance company representatives and relevant vendors. The meeting will include speaker presentations as well as activity reports and facilitated discussion among the attendees.
The itinerary will include Networking Dinner on Tuesday, October 18, a full-day meeting and dinner on Wednesday, October 19, and meeting 9 am – 12 pm on Thursday, October 20.
The meeting is open to insurance company executives, with a discounted registration fee for LIC members, group discounts, and a discount for fraternal members of the American Fraternal Alliance. Affiliate Members/Vendors must sponsor the meeting in order to attend (see LIC sponsorship opportunities).
Remote Option Available
