ATLANTA, Nov. 16, 2018 — LOMA today announced its flagship publication, LOMA Resource Magazine, won a gold award from the Atlanta chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

The award was for the May 2018 article, Players, Principles and Paradigm Busters, written by Jennifer Rankin. The article highlighted key financial and strategic issues facing the life insurance industry and provided updates on the financial outlook, taxation, regulation and disruptors to the industry.

“We are honored to be recognized by the IABC,” said Ron Clark, assistant vice president, LOMA publications. “The competition includes the best work from communicators at major national organizations, such as American Cancer Society, Lockheed Martin and Invesco. We are pleased that Jennifer’s extraordinary work has been recognized.”

The Golden Flame awards recognize exceptional examples of advertising, writing, marketing and communication programs as judged by an international panel of peer-professionals. Overall, 25 companies earned 63 awards — 42 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze — for business communication excellence.

LOMA Resource Magazine is the leading monthly magazine covering management and operations of the life insurance and related financial services industries. Topics include technology, customer service, underwriting, financial management, human resources and more.
