May the 4th is not only an important date for Star Wars fans everywhere, it’s also when LOMA will shut down the server I*STAR is currently on.

To make sure that you will be able to use I*STAR after May 4th, 2019, we are asking all of our customers to launch the I*STAR software from every computer where it is installed.

FAQs
What does this mean for me?

By launching the I*STAR software, you will receive an automatic update to our latest version and it will automatically connect to the new server. You don’t need to have an open course enrollment to do this. All you need is to launch the program and you’ll be all set!

What will happen if I do NOT launch I*STAR before then?

It’s very simple — if you don't launch I*STAR before May 4th, when you try to connect, you will receive a “Failed to Connect to Server” message and will need to contact us. Meanwhile, your employees will not be able to take LOMA exams on I*STAR.

Why are you upgrading your server?

We are moving to a new server to be compatible with the industry standards to ensure I*STAR data is safe while being transmitted from source to destination.
