    Darrin Steinhagen is the Director of Business Finance for CUNA Mutual Group. In this role he serves as the leader of a Finance team that supports the organization’s Product, Innovation and Business Experience areas. Darrin joined the CUNA Mutual Group in 1999 and has served in several capacities including: external reporting; Manager of Cost Accounting; Senior Manager of Corporate Support Areas; Director of Operations Finance and Director of Accounting. Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group, Darrin gained 10 years of insurance industry experience including roles as the Assistant Treasurer of Continental Life and Accident Company in Schaumburg, III. and as a Senior Financial Manager with Pioneer Financial Services in Rockford, Ill. Darrin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Illinois State University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

    Michael Rogers is a best-selling author, technology pioneer and futurist, who most recently served as futurist-in-residence for The New York Times. He has worked with companies ranging from FedEx, Boeing and NBC Universal to Microsoft, Pfizer and Siemens, focusing on how companies can think about the future in useful ways. He speaks to audiences worldwide and is a regular guest on radio and television.
  • Alison Salka, Ph.D.

    Senior Vice President and Director of Research
    LIMRA
    Alison Salka joined LIMRA in 2012 and is responsible for driving the strategy and direction of its member benefit and research programs. She oversees a team of more than 85 professionals in LIMRA’s Research division who conduct benchmark studies, discovery research, and thought leadership designed to help member companies better understand industry issues and trends. The research agenda covers financial services products, markets, distribution, and strategy. She is also responsible for member benefit conferences and study groups, as well as LIMRA’s Compliance Assurance Products and research based product development. She is also a managing director of the LIMRA LOMA Secure Retirement Institute. Salka previously led the retirement research and competitive intelligence team at Prudential, and was also a director of retirement research and business analytics at MassMutual. She has earned a Master’s degree from the College of William and Mary and Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
