Pete Filiaci, VP, Strategy & Insights, Univision Communications

Melissa Pitts, Account Executive, gyro

Hispanics account for 57 million people today and will represent 94% of the 18-49 growth through 2024. They're also an ideal target for life insurers: 10 years younger than the total market and more likely to get married and start families at an earlier age. So…how exactly do you connect? Join Melissa Pitts of Gyro and Pete Filiaci of Univision Communications, Inc. as they discuss how embracing cultural nuances can help you win big with this game-changing consumer.

As a vice president in Univision’s Strategy and Insights Group, Pete Filiaci oversees the restaurant, entertainment and financial services categories. His team delivers best-in-class consumer and market insights across categories with the goal of driving deeper understanding of Hispanic consumers and marketing. He has overseen proprietary research studies for both QSR and casual dining that explore the U.S. Hispanic consumer’s needs, preferences and behaviors in the category. In his 15+ years at Univision, he has held research and marketing roles focused on helping clients drive sales with Hispanics.
