How do I access LOMA’s learning system?

To access the system, go to https://learning.loma.org and enter your login credentials.

I am a new Ed Rep for my company. How do I get Ed Rep privileges in the system?

You’ll need an account in the system and Ed Rep privileges. A LOMA administrator will provide you with Ed Rep privileges after you complete and send in the Educational Representative Request Form. For more information, use one of the options shown above in “How do I contact LOMA” to contact us.

How do I search for students?

  1. Log in to the system
  2. Select “Educational Representatives” at the top of the screen. The navigation menus (“Learning Home”, “Upcoming Learning”, etc.) will be replaced by the “People” menu.
  3. Under the “People” menu, use the “Manage Users” search functionality to locate a learner’s record.
  4. Specify your search parameters, and click the “Search” button.

You can use any of the available search parameters to narrow your search for the learner, including:

  • Last name and/or first name
  • Test ID (a unique system-generated ID equivalent to the Student Number from the LOMANET exam administration system)
  • Employee ID (an optional ID that is used internally by your company to ID learners)
  • Login ID
  • Birth date
  • Email address
  • Organization (either a portion or all of the Org’s name or the Org’s numeric ID)
  • City, state, or country (click “See more search criteria” to see these).

How can I view a student’s course history or progress?

Follow the instructions in “How do I search for students?” to search for a learner. On the “Action” menu, choose “View Transcript” and click the “Go” button. The learning history will appear. You can filter the data by Type (such as Designation Course or Short Online Course) and/or by Status (Started, Completed, etc.). Click “Manage Users” in the breadcrumb trail, or click the “People” menu to return to the “Manage Users” page.

How do I enroll students?

Follow the instructions in “How do I search for students?” to search for a learner. On the “Action” menu for that learner, choose “Learning Catalog” and click “Go” to search the catalog. Click the link for the desired course, and on the course details page, click the “Add to Cart” button. Click “Search Results” or “Browse Learning Catalog” to locate other courses to add to the cart for this learner. You can also repeat the above steps to add courses for other learners to the cart. When you are finished shopping, click on the “Shopping Cart” icon at the top of the screen to complete your purchase. As an Ed Rep, you can choose to pay for the selected courses via credit card or by invoicing to your company.

How can I bill my company for enrollments?

On the “Payment Options” page of the shopping cart, select the appropriate account code from the “Bill My Company” list near the top of the page. If you don’t see the “Bill My Company” list, use one of the options shown in “How do I contact LOMA” above to contact us for assistance.

Note that, if “Bill My Company” is typically available to you in the shopping cart, but it is not for the current transaction, then it is likely that there is no account code that covers all items in the shopping cart. An account code will appear only if it is applicable to all items in the cart.

In the shopping cart, what are Promotional Codes and Order Discount Codes?

Promotional codes provide reduced pricing for a single item, such as a short online course. If LOMA provided you with a promotional code for an item, enter the code in the “Promotional Code” field next to that item in the shopping cart.

Order discount codes provide reduced pricing for an entire order. If LOMA provided you with an order discount code, enter it in the “Order Discount Code” field near the bottom-left of the shopping cart page.

Once you’ve entered any promotional codes and/or order discount codes, click the “Apply Discount or Promotional Code” button. The order total will update to reflect the promotional pricing provided by all valid codes.

In the shopping cart, what is the Accounting Code field?

You company can use the accounting code internally for chargeback or other purposes. The code will appear on your invoice if your company uses invoicing.

Where can I locate a receipt for an enrollment?

To view the purchases for an individual learner, or locate a receipt: Search for the learner using the instructions above in “How do I search for students?”. Choose “View Purchases” in the Action dropdown for that learner, and click “Go” to view the learner’s entire purchase history. Click “View Details” to view or print the details for a purchase.

Any purchases that you’ve completed on behalf of your learners will also appear in your own purchase history, which is located at the bottom of your learning home page. Only about five purchases will appear on the home page. To see your entire history, click the “Purchase History” button.

How do I transfer a student into or out of my organization?

You can transfer a learner into or out of your Organization if the learner has an account in our system.

To find the learner's account:
  1. Log into the system.
  2. Click “Educational Representatives” at the top of the screen.
  3. On the Manage Users page, click the “Transfer User” button.
  4. Enter the Test ID of the learner you want to transfer. If the Test ID exactly matches an existing user in the system, information about the learner will appear in a table.
To transfer the user into your Organization
  1. Click the “Transfer This Learner To” dropdown list.
  2. Select the appropriate Organization from the list.
  3. Click the “Transfer” button. You should see a message that “The transfer was successful.”
To transfer the user out of your Organization
  1. If the learner is already a member of your Organization, the “Remove From My Organization” button will be visible.
  2. Click the “Remove From My Organization” button.
  3. On the popup that appears, click “Yes” to confirm that you want to remove the learner.
