Collaborates with International Universities on New “Global Campus”
HONG KONG—June 22, 2006—From the podium at the LOMA/LIMRA Strategic Issues Conference held in Hong Kong June 18-20, Thomas P. Donaldson, FLMI, CLU, LOMA’s President and Chief Executive Officer, announced the launch of LOMA’s Global Campus. Conference attendees had gathered to discuss strategies for maximizing performance.
Donaldson’s announcement highlighted LOMA’s collaboration with high-caliber international universities. This special collaborative network means graduates of LOMA’s Life Management Institute or Financial Services Institute have the opportunity to receive credit towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at prestigious universities in various parts of the world that have joined the LOMA Global Campus.
Students receive the benefit of a degree that is globally recognized through distance learning programs that are flexible and convenient. This also creates an exciting opportunity for students to receive added value and save money by capitalizing on their LOMA coursework.
The LOMA Global Campus also enables LOMA member companies worldwide to encourage their employees to continue their learning and development at higher learning institutions in order to increase their knowledge base.
