Online Courses Receive Excellent Student Reviews ATLANTA,
GA—SEPTEMBER 27, 2007—LOMA,
the leading trade association to the insurance and financial services industry
and worldwide leader in learning and professional development, announces the
results of a recent survey measuring the effectiveness of its online learning
courses. Students
overwhelmingly praised the quality of LOMA’s online courses, which cover
topics such as life insurance, annuities, insurance distribution, underwriting,
claim administration, financial services, regulatory compliance, reinsurance,
and many others. Over 96% of the student respondents stated that the quality of the
courses was good or excellent. Almost all of the respondents reported
significant knowledge gains as a result of taking the courses, Nine out of ten
students reported that the information provided by the courses was relevant to
their jobs and important or very important to their employers and careers. Nine
out of ten also said they would take more LOMA online courses as well as
