LOMA and
China Life
Establish China’s Largest
Corporate University
February 26, 2004—Atlanta, Georgia, United States— LOMA,
the leading trade association to the insurance and financial services
industry and 2003 Asia Insurance Education Award winner, announces the
association’s partnership with China Life Insurance Company forming
the China Life Insurance Company – LOMA Institute. The China Life
Insurance Company – LOMA Institute will be China’s largest corporate
university, providing LOMA’s award-winning education and training
programs to China Life’s 600,000 employees.
"China Life Insurance Company – LOMA Institute education
programs will improve company operations by developing China Life’s
human resources and increasing employee professionalism, effectiveness,
and efficiency," stated Thomas P. Donaldson, FLMI, CLU, president
and CEO of LOMA. "Customers will also benefit from China Life’s
employees ability to exceed international standards of exceptional
customer service."
Courses provided by the China Life Insurance Company – LOMA
Institute will be delivered in blended-learning environments, using
traditional classroom settings and LOMA’s cutting-edge online learning
technology. Combining online learning with classroom lectures will allow
China Life to integrate the most up-to-date, accurate, and compliant
information in all their training initiatives as well as provide
employees with greater options for professional development.
Donaldson will be in Shanghai on Friday, February 27, 2004 for a
formal ceremony announcing the establishment of the China Life Insurance
Company – LOMA Institute.
