Daniel Burrus to Keynote ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum

Insurance and Financial Services Conference Offers Business and Technology Strategies for an Uncertain Future

Atlanta, March 3, 2004– Daniel Burrus, one of the world's leading technology forecasters and one of the New York Times top three business "gurus" in highest demand as a speaker will keynote the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum, to be held May 23-25, 2004, in Las Vegas, NV. Burrus has a worldwide reputation for accurately predicting the future of technological change.

"In times of great uncertainty, we must ask ourselves what we are certain about," says Burrus. "Changing times mean changing strategies." At the Forum he will share Technostrategies for Creating and Sustaining Strategic Advantage in an uncertain world.

Other sessions at the Forum will address ways professionals can cope with the uncertainty in today’s business climate. In an exclusive panel, "Confidently Facing an Uncertain Future," Forum attendees will hear from influential insurance and financial services CEOs as they discuss IT’s critical role in the organization and the ways they see business and technology partnering to meet today’s unique crises and demands.

In addition to these cutting edge presentations, attendees can choose from 100 concurrent sessions covering critical topics affecting every line of business—globalization, information transparency, regulatory demands, Web services, security, knowledge management, distribution technology, outsourcing, and dozens more.

The Insurance Systems Forum also features the most comprehensive exhibit hall in the industry. This sold-out hall features 170 exhibitors, state of the art demo areas, guided exhibitor tours, and more.

Registration for the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum is $695 for ACORD or LOMA members and $895 for nonmembers for registrations received by April 23, 2004. For more information or to register, visit www.acordlomaforum.org or call 770-984-3733.
