Industry Analysts to Offer Insight at ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum

Atlanta, March 18, 2004 – The ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum, to be held May 23-25, 2004, in Las Vegas, NV, will offer attendees the unique opportunity to get "In the Know, Ahead of the Curve" with an interactive industry analyst panel discussing the latest industry trends and developments.

Featured on this panel are: Kimberly H. Harris, research director, Gartner, Inc.; Matthew Josefowicz, manager, insurance practice, Celent Communications; John Flynn, senior vice president, insurance information strategies, META Group, Inc.; and Deborah Smallwood, practice leader, insurance, TowerGroup.

These analysts will discuss and debate key industry trends, challenges and opportunities, business strategies, impacts of regulatory changes, business process reinventions, and the ways companies must embrace critical technologies and standards. "What is really unique is that attendees will be able to participate immediately using interactive handheld technology," said Denise Garth, vice president, marketing and development at ACORD and one of the moderators for the session. "They will be able respond to questions from the panel and compare their responses with others in the industry in real time. Our goal is to help them understand industry trends and directions."

During the 3-day conference, attendees can choose from more than 100 sessions covering critical topics affecting every line of business including globalization, information transparency, regulatory demands, Web services, security, knowledge management, distribution technology, and outsourcing. The entire ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum program is available online at http://www.acordlomaforum.org/.

The Insurance Systems Forum also features a sold-out 110,000-square foot exhibit hall featuring 170 exhibitors, state of the art demo areas, guided exhibitor tours, and more.
