Million Dollar Roundtable Panel Featured at LIMRA/LOMA Social Media Conference for Financial Services
WINDSOR, Conn., July 31, 2012—A panel of Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT) producers is one of the featured sessions at LIMRA and LOMA’s 2012 Social Media Conference for Financial Services, which will be held on Aug. 22-24, 2012, in Boston, Mass.
“According to new LIMRA research, almost half of producers are currently using social media now and another 37 percent are planning to use it in the future,” said Greg Bailey, vice president, strategic marketing, for Pacific Life’s Life Insurance Division. “Our panel brings together leading practitioners of social media in the field, who also happen to be some of the most successful producers in the United States. Their practical knowledge and experience will be extremely valuable to attendees wanting to understand what challenges our industry faces with broad social media adoption and the best way to develop a social media program that will be successful.”
The panel, moderated by Bailey, will share their perspectives on the role of social media in distribution and how carriers can improve support for this new, wildly popular communications platform. The panel includes David Appel, CLU, ChFC, a 16-year MDRT member, with Appel Insurance Advisors, LLC; Greg Gagne, a 13-year MDRT member, with Affinity Investment Group, LLC; and Ted Jenkin, CFP, co-CEO and Founder of oXYGen Financial.
This year’s conference offers a comprehensive program, providing the latest research, best practices and approaches for executives and industry professionals seeking to grow their business and expand their market share using the latest social media innovations and ideas.
