Overview
Who Attends
This session is for 2026 LIMRA Distribution & Marketing Conference registrants who are LIC members or prospective LIC members. LIC Members can also sign up for this as a stand-alone event without attending the Conference. This is a great networking opportunity for C-level or senior management in marketing, sales, and distribution at small to midsize life insurance companies and fraternals.
LIC Affiliates may send one representative if a sponsor of the meeting: please contact lic@loma.org for more information.
Highlights
The LIC Marketing & Distribution Committee Meeting is a stand-alone session on February 23, 2026, Day 1 of the LIMRA Distribution & Marketing Conference in Orlando. This session provides an opportunity for LIC members and other senior-level/C-suite marketing and distribution executives from small-to-midsize companies to network with peers, discuss challenges and opportunities, and share ideas specific to smaller companies.
The LIC Marketing meeting is free for insurance companies and fraternals to attend. The LIMRA Distribution & Marketing Conference that follows, February 23-25, requires a separate registration here. (Affiliate Members and service providers must be a sponsor in order to send a representative — contact Audrey Wittenburg at awittenburg@loma.org for information.)
The LIC Marketing session will begin with networking lunch in the meeting room, 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 23, and will end at 3:30 p.m. For LIMRA Conference registrants only, LIC members can gather at the Kickoff Mocktail Meetup at 3:30 p.m. and LIC's Meet-Up at the LIMRA Welcome Reception that evening.

- Identifying a company's customer personas
- Accessing consumer data to identify new prospects that "look like" current customers
- Accessing consumer data to identify underserved cohorts
- How to use TransUnion data to differentiate your company among agencies in a world where products are commoditized and their focus is "top-line."
- Insights on AI
In addition, the session will include attendee introductions and open discussion topics such as:
- How are you integrating AI into your day to day marketing strategies and tactics?
- Final Expense Replacement Activity
- Overall lack of agent training, short time (gig) agents
