LIC's Terms of Registration

LIC, at our sole discretion, and without any liability, reserves the right at any time to refuse registrations and/or refuse admission to its meetings.

Cooperation from all participants is expected to help us promote a safe environment and a productive experience for everyone.

Acceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:

• maintain a respectful, considerate, and courteous attitude towards everyone you engage with at the meeting
• secure your belongings and be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants
• if there is a situation that looks concerning or could be dangerous, notify conference organizers in a prompt manner
• refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech

Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:

• intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct
  wearing clothing not suitable for a professional work environment
  offensive verbal comments (e.g., related to race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability)
  deliberate intimidation or stalking
  intentional disruption of presentations or other events
  inappropriate or unwelcome physical contact or advances
  physical, written, verbal or other abuse (e.g., threats, annoyance, pushing, shoving or physical force whatsoever against any person, which in any way creates a disturbance that is disruptive or dangerous, or creates anxiety or apprehension in an individual)
  boisterous, lewd or offensive behavior or content such as profanity, obscene gestures or slurs

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated at any LIC meeting. Engaging in unacceptable behavior may result in expulsion from the meeting without warning or refund. This may also result in prohibition from registering or attending future events.

LIC shall not be responsible for failure to hold a scheduled meeting if circumstances beyond its control, including, but not limited to acts of God, governmental authority, terrorist acts, pandemic concerns make it impossible to hold the meeting. Should this occur, we will use our best effort to reschedule the event and notify attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors.

Participants agree to release and hold harmless LIC, LIMRA, LOMA and LL Global, Inc. from any and all claims, demands, and action arising out of relating to your participation in the LIC meeting you are registering to participate in.
