LIC's ERM Committee Meeting provides an opportunity to develop business relationships and share ideas with other executives involved in Enterprise Risk Management for small to mid-size insurance companies and fraternals.

Find out what other companies are experiencing and share practical solutions to common challenges. What do YOU want to learn? Topics are being submitted in advance by participants, such as:

What changes have companies made in their ERM strategy as a result of COVID?
What are senior management's/board of directors top 5 areas of risk? How well is your company prepared to deal with those risks?
How are companies using ERM in their Strategic Planning?
Do companies produce a “CRO report” that is shared with senior management and the Board of Directors? If so, what items do they include in it?
What software vendors are companies using for risk assessment & reporting?
Have companies created KRIs for their risks?

The LIC ERM Committee Meeting is open to insurance company and fraternal ERM executives, with a discounted registration fee for LIC members. Affiliate Members/Vendors must be sponsors of the meeting in order to attend. Find out about LIC sponsorship opportunities.

This meeting will be hybrid. In-person space is extremely limited and a waitlist will form automatically when it is sold out. If you are wait-listed or unable to get an in-person spot please sign up for the virtual portion by clicking the Register button on this page.

The itinerary for in-person attendees will include dinner at 6:30 pm CDT the evening of May 10, 2022, and meeting at American Farmers & Ranchers approximately 9 am - 12 pm and 1-2 pm CDT on May 11, 2022.

Remote participation will be on May 11 only. Check-in via Webex will begin at 8:30 am CDT (9:30 am EDT) and the meeting will be 9 am - 12 pm and 1 - 2 pm CDT (10 am - 1 pm and 2 - 3 pm EDT).

Non-insurance companies must be a meeting sponsor in order to participate in LIC Committee Meetings.

Sponsorship Fee: LIC Affiliates $800 / Nonmembers $1,300 (50% discount for remote-only sponsorship)

Sponsorship includes one registration; additional remote representatives can be added for $150 each. In-person sponsorships are extremely limited and expected to sell out, but remote attendance will not be limited. Insurance Companies

Registration is $150 for LIC Members, $200 for LIMRA/LOMA Members, $300 for nonmembers. Remote registration pricing is the same.

In-person seats are extremely limited and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, up to two per insurance company, but remote attendance will not be limited.

Group Discount: For insurance companies and fraternals, after the first two paid registrations, additional remote participants can sign up for free with the promo code GRPCOMP.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing. Please send cancellation requests to customer.service@limra.com. A full refund for in-person attendance is available until five business days before the meeting (May 4, 2022), and a full refund for virtual attendance is available until 2 days before the meeting (May 9, 2022). Late cancellations will be charged $50 (US) if registered in-person, $25 (US) if registered for virtual participation. Please be sure to cancel any hotel/flight reservations; LIC is not responsible for any travel costs incurred.

Switching from in-person to remote attendance is allowed at no charge, and substitutions are also allowed at no charge.

If for any reason this meeting is cancelled (ie, not even held virtually), LIC will refund the total registration fee.
