Highlights

The LIC CEO Forum Summer Meeting is a chance for chief executives from small-to-midsize life insurance companies and fraternals to get together in a unique peer networking meeting. 

The itinerary will include a guided walking tour of Montreal on Monday afternoon, two networking dinners on Monday and Tuesday, and a day-and-a-half meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

The LIC CEO Forum is open to CEOs/Presidents of legal-reserve insurance companies and fraternal organizations.

  • LIC Member: $350 before 8/3/2022, then $450
  • Nonmember: $650 before 8/3/2022, then $750

Members of the American Fraternal Alliance are eligible for a $100 discount sponsored by the AFA. Please contact info@fraternalalliance.org for the discount.

COVID-19 Vaccine/Test Requirement

This meeting will require in-person attendees to bring proof of full vaccination or negative Covid test using the provided CLEAR app.

The health and safety of our conference attendees is our top priority as we return to meeting in person. We are committed to holding our events in accordance with currently applicable CDC and local laws, rules, regulations, or guidance. This is a shared responsibility, and we ask that all attendees abide by the following guidelines and procedures.

By signing up to attend in person, you agree to: 

1. Prior to Event

  • Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (as defined by the CDC) OR a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival.
    • All registrants will be required to upload their vaccination information or negative COVID test results onto the CLEAR app we are providing at no charge.
    • CLEAR APP INSTRUCTIONS.
  • If you are aware that you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the two weeks prior to the meeting, or if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you DO NOT attend an in-person event.
  • Follow cleaning and safety procedures during your trip to maintain a safe travel environment (e.g., disinfecting surfaces, wearing a face covering, etc.).

2. On-Site at the Event

  • Follow any on-site mask requirements.
  • Adhere to social distance protocols.
  • Wash hands frequently throughout the meeting.
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • Comply with posted signage.
  • Self-monitor and report any symptoms to meeting organizers immediately.

3. Post Event

  • Notify event organizer if you test positive for COVID-19 up to 14 days after returning home.

How to Prepare for Air Travel

Your airline is the best source for personal safety protocols at the gate and on the airplane. Be sure to visit your airline website the week you are traveling and sign up for notifications related to your trip.

The Delta Hotel is across the street from Optimum. For the Optimum corporate rate, select your dates on the website, click on Special Rates>Corporate and enter the code 89U. Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 12pm. Onsite parking is available for CA$28.50/day.

The hotel does not provide shuttle service. Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is 20.4 km (approximately 20 minutes) from the hotel. Uber and taxi service is available.

Traveling To Canada

At this time all travelers to Canada must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and must submit their information into the ArriveCAN system within 72 hours before arrival. This includes contact and travel information as well as proof of vaccination.
