Robert A. Kerzner, CLU, ChFC
President and CEO
LIMRA, LOMA and LL Global, Inc.

As president and CEO of LIMRA, LOMA and LL Global, Inc., Kerzner leads the world’s largest association of life insurance and financial services companies, with the combined organizations totaling over 1,200 members in more than 70 countries. Kerzner spearheaded the effort to bring LIMRA and LOMA together under a single management organization, LL Global, which became effective January 1, 2008.

Before joining LIMRA in 2004, Kerzner was executive vice president and head of the individual life division of Hartford Life, Inc., where the division experienced dramatic growth and record financial performance. Kerzner also led The Hartford into affiliated distribution with the acquisition of Woodbury Financial Services, a national broker-dealer organization with more than 1,800 independent representatives, where Kerzner also served as president of Woodbury following the acquisition.

Kerzner is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University.

 

Jeffrey Hasty, FLMI, ACS
Senior Vice President, Assessment, Development and Best Practices

As a senior vice president at LOMA, Hasty leads the Management Solutions operation responsible for improving the effectiveness member company operations and employees by delivering leading edge human capital development solutions. These solutions are delivered to member companies and employees through state of the art assessment, learning & development, conferences, performance management benchmarking tools, and industry committees.

A graduate of the Penn State University/LOMA executive development program, Hasty holds a BBA degree from Kennesaw State University in Georgia.

 

Gary Aluise, LLIF
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, International Operations
LIMRA, LOMA and LL Global, Inc.

Aluise joined LIMRA in 2001 and has primary responsibility for LIMRA and LOMA's international businesses in Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Oceania. He has 34 years of experience in the insurance industry, including more than 25 years with MetLife in various capacities.

Aluise is a graduate of Villanova University and has completed executive programs at Harvard University Law School and Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

 

Michele LaBouff
Vice President, Human Resources

As Vice President, Human Resources for LL Global, LaBouff leads the HR departments for both LIMRA and LOMA to effectively develop, implement and administer broad human resources programs.

In this role, Labouff is also responsible for establishing corporate HR strategies that support the Associations’ business goals and that deliver on its Employee Value Proposition. She also serves on the Senior Management Group for LL Global which is the holding company for LOMA and LIMRA International.

LaBouff holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

 

Kathy Milligan, FLMI, ACS, ALHC
Senior Vice President, Education and Training

As Vice President, Education and Training for LOMA, Kathy Milligan is responsible for planning and ensuring the development and implementation of educational courses, programs, and products to enhance the quality of human resources in and available to the insurance and financial services industry worldwide. In this role she works with key industry groups and LOMA members to determine educational needs and oversees the development of online, print-based, and instructor-facilitated training courses and materials to meet those needs.

Milligan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia Southern University. She is a graduate of LOMA’s Executive Development Program and has earned the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation, the Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation, as well as the Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC) designation.

 

Carol Larco-Murzyn, Ph.D.
Vice President, Marketing

With 20 years in the financial services industry, Larco-Murzyn leads the marketing and corporate communications functions at LIMRA and LOMA. She is also responsible for developing and directing the strategic efforts that support branding, product marketing and international marketing.

Larco-Murzyn has also authored Retirement Distribution Planning (Society of Financial Services Professionals Retirement Newsletter, Spring 2005) and co-authored Think Like a Shrink (published in Trusts and Estates, May 2002).

She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in education and a B.A. and M.S. from Southern Connecticut State University in speech and speech pathology.

 

Jake Star
Chief Information Officer

As Chief Information Officer for LL Global, LIMRA and LOMA, Jake Star works with the Senior Leadership Teams from both LIMRA and LOMA to establish the strategic direction of LL Global’s information systems and manages the daily operations of LL Global’s computing infrastructure.

He has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field and has won numerous software development awards from PC Magazine, PC World, and Parents’ Choice Foundation. Star has also served as a member of the Advisory Board of Network Computing Magazine.

He holds a BS, Management Information Systems from Kennedy-Western University.
