LOMA’s Resource Magazine Claims Two Victories in PRSA’s 2017 Phoenix Awards

LOMA’s award winning magazine, Resource, has received two awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Georgia chapter, in the 2017 Phoenix awards.

The magazine received an Award of Excellence for external audiences for its April, May and June 2017 issues. The award is given for excellence in writing and design.

Resource’s Senior Editor, Jennifer Rankin, won the Phoenix award for “Writing — By-lined Financial Article” for her article, “Deals, Drivers and Disruptors.”

“We are very proud of Jennifer and the rest of the Resource staff for their continued dedication and excellence in research and reporting the most important topics surrounding our industry,” said Ron Clark, AVP publications, editor and publisher, LOMA Resource.

The Phoenix awards is a competition designed by PRSA Georgia to recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in the public relations profession in Georgia. Past winners include work done for organizations such as Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Aflac, and the American Heart Association.

LOMA’s Resource magazine is a membership benefit and provides employees of LOMA member companies with news and information about industry operations and management. Topics covered include industry trends, technology, operations, customer service, human resources, financial management, strategic management, and education.
