Theresa Payton, Former White House CIO to Headline LOMA Cyber Security Summit
ATLANTA – March 31, 2016 – Theresa Payton, former
White House chief information officer (CIO) and a leading expert on
cybersecurity, identity theft and the Internet of Things will be the keynote
speaker at the LOMA Cyber Security Summit, to be held on May 18-20, 2016, at
the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida.
Payton will discuss how and
why the financial services industry’s heavy investment in cybersecurity has not
eliminated attacks and breaches and will offer solutions on how companies can
better secure their assets.
In addition to the exciting
program, one of the most popular aspects of the Summit features interactive
discussions, allowing attendees to drive the discussion topics with their
peers. Moderated by executives from
Ameritas and OneAmerica Financial Partners, these sessions will focus on
cybersecurity hot topics, such as security breach response and recovery,
software as a service, insider threats, board reporting and others.
The conference also
features a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Panel comprised of
executives of Fidelity & Guaranty Life, Pacific Life, and New York Life
leading a lively discussion on Things
that Keep You Up at Night. The panel members will share their expert-level
insight gleaned from their many years of experience in various occupations
within the Cyber Security spectrum.
Now in its second year, the
LOMA Cyber Security Summit is open exclusively to LOMA insurance company members. Leaders responsible for
information and data security, risk management, compliance and internal audit
gather to learn about and discuss the most critical issues of the day. More information
