LOMA Wins Prestigious Honor for Magazine Article
WINDSOR, Conn. — Nov. 4, 2015 — LOMA is pleased to announce that an article in its May edition of Resource magazine has won a 2015 Phoenix Award.
The Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America gives out the awards each year, and this year LOMA won in the Writing – Bylined Financial Article category for “Supervision, Standards, Strategy” by Jennifer Rankin
The article discussed the challenges facing the industry from economic conditions and regulatory pressures — and revealed opportunities in light of those challenges.
“At LOMA, we are happy to serve our members and the industry every month with hard-hitting news pieces and features,” said Ron Clark, LOMA’s assistant vice president, Publications. “We are delighted for Jennifer and couldn’t be more pleased that our work has been recognized in this way — especially given the outstanding quality of the competition.”
Besides LOMA, other Atlanta-area companies including Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot and United Parcel Service submitted their work for review.
Resource, LOMA’s official magazine, provides LOMA member company employees with the latest industry news and trends. Technology, customer service, human resources, financial management, strategic management and education issues are all covered in each edition. It has distribution to more than 14,000 industry professionals.
