LOMA Introduces New Insurance Administration Course
Latest Interactive Course Highlights Path to ALMI® Designation
ATLANTA — Nov. 11, 2015 — LOMA today announced the recent launch of its latest highly-interactive online educational course, The Policy Lifecycle: Insurance Administration (LOMA 302), the fourth course in the Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) program to be delivered in the popular self-paced online interactive format.
The new course uses a variety of media to present an in-depth study of insurance administration functions for individual and group life insurance, focusing on underwriting, customer service, and claims activities.
“The Policy Lifecycle: Insurance Administration offers an engaging new way for industry professionals to learn about the core functions that make the insurance business unique. Realistic scenarios within the course allow learners to evaluate applicants and make claims decisions applying the concepts in the course,” said Kathy Milligan, FLMI, ACS, senior vice president of LOMA’s Education and Training Division. “With today’s learners expecting and embracing technology, LOMA delivers this important content to them in a contemporary format that appeals to their learning preferences.”
Videos featuring industry experts from a variety of insurance companies provide “real world” commentary along with dynamic examples of insurance administration within the industry. The course, which takes approximately 8–10 hours to complete, includes examinations at the end of each module.
