LOMA Partners with Element K to Deliver Enhanced Online Training to the Insurance Industry – Customized Pricing and Packaging Key for HR

ATLANTA - June 1, 2011 ― LOMA unveiled a new and more robust array of online learning solutions to provide soft skills training and improve the business acumen of employees in the insurance and financial services industry. The learning resources include popular online courses from Element K in management/leadership, communication, project management, and desktop applications.  Additionally, LOMA is releasing its own newly created industry-specific courses in life insurance and annuities. These courses, available individually or bundled as "collections," provide an exceptional way to bring new employees up to speed quickly, educate employees new to a particular functional area in an insurance company, or refresh the knowledge base of more seasoned industry employees.

"In today's business environment, insurance professionals throughout our industry are being required to do more with less. Ensuring they have sufficient business acumen and a command of necessary soft skills is fundamental to their success," says Kathy Milligan, FLMI, ACS, vice president of LOMA Education & Training. "Our partnership with Element K will also allow LOMA to deliver dynamic online learning courses in a variety of languages to better serve to our members in Latin America and Southeast Asia."

Select courses in the LOMA catalog will also be available in other languages, including Spanish, Portuguese and Vietnamese.
