She concentrates on change at the senior executive level. Allgeier has been a keynote speaker on Corporate Human Resource issues for several years now. She has been the director o HR at several large companies including former LIC member Providian Corporation and KFC, Inc. she is now a national faculty member and facilitator for the Society of Human Resources and has many corporate clients who depend on her help on internal HR issues. Allgeier is known for engaging her audience with a high degree of participation. She has been a recent contributor to the Steven Covey book, “Conversations on Success,” in which she gives an extensive interview on what makes people successful. Her current area of interest is developing future corporate leaders and her presentation will inform you on best practices related to succession planning for major officers.

"From Jet Fighter to Novel Writer: Making Dramatic Transitions with Finesse"

Berent (Lt. Colonel U.S. Air Force (ret.) is a successful novelist who traded in his fighter pilot wings to become a writer. He won the Silver Star, the second highest award in the American Armed Forces for his duty served flying numerous combat missions over North Vietnam. Berent’s “Rolling Thunder” series has been endorsed by friends such as Tom Clancy, W.E.B. Griffin and Chuck Yeager. His latest book in the series is “Storm Flight.” Berent will discuss his major transition from flying jet fighters and engaging successfully in aerial combat to writing for a living, and along the way motivate you to make your own personal changes. Ferguson is the Senior Vice President for state relations at the ACLI and is a long time advocate for the life insurance industry at both state capitols and the Congress. Boyer is the new Chair of the LIC. Brian Atchinson is a representative of IMSA.

In this age of cyber terrorism and increased regulation governing systems security compliance, George Tselentis - CISM a Senior Business Manager with Controlled Solutions International will present this program on security threats to your staff and systems . He will include his thoughts on future threats that may be just over the horizon. George has extensive experience in systems security as well as disaster recovery. He has worked on both civilian and military projects including protection of nuclear weapon systems security and intrusion and "attack scenarios." George's work includes Patriot Act , OMB 123 and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. His clients have included Microsoft, NASD, the American Stock Exchange and the US Government. Clients in the insurance industry include LIC member company, AFLAC, and Mutual Protective Insurance Company and American Republic Insurance.
