AHIP
America's Health Insurance Plan (AHIP)
offers health insurance education programs to meet the needs of busy
health insurance professionals and their organizations. Choose from 30+
self-study courses focused on health insurance products, operations and
customer service. Industry recognized designations include:

Business Process Advisor
(BPA) - Fundamental information on health insurance and customer
service for back office and operational support areas. A first step to
advanced-level studies focusing on medical management and call
centers.

Association (HIA) - Mastery of the principles of health insurance
including contracts, marketing, administration, underwriting, claims,
and evaluation of various kinds of health insurance.

CEBS is the premier certification

Networking/Company
Visits
If you are traveling, LOMA's International Team can provide contacts in
companies in any corner of the world. We provide three levels of service
to assist LOMA member companies in setting up visits to Domestic and/or
International LOMA member company contacts:

Level one: LOMA provides the
contacts and the member company makes the arrangements. There is no
fee for this member service.
-
Level two: LOMA sets up the visits
for the member company. A small fee of U.S.$100 per hour is charged for
this service, not to exceed U.S.$1000 (with at least two months of
notice)
-
Level three: LOMA staff
representative accompanies member company on the visit. The fee is
U.S.$600-U.S.$1,000 per day + travel expenses, based on level of
service to be provided (with at least two months of notice)
