The Diplomate,
Life Health Institute (DLHI) Program
The
Arabic DLHI Program
LOMA is currently working with the Royal Center
to offer an
education program translated into Arabic, based on LOMA course materials.
The translated education program includes:
LOMA 280, LOMA 290 and LOMA 320, and is known as the Diplomate, Life
Health Institute (DLHI). Translation of the
program will begin in 2007 and is scheduled for completion in 2008.
Required Courses
- LOMA 280: Principles of Insurance: Life,
Health, and Annuities
Introduces the principles of insurance, the process of becoming insured, and
the policyowner's contractual rights. The course includes information on the
features of individual and group life insurance, health insurance, and
annuity products.
- LOMA 290: Insurance Company Operations
Describes the organization of insurance companies and the environment in
which they operate, focusing on specific company operations such as
marketing, actuarial, underwriting and financial activities.
- LOMA 320: Life and Health Insurance Marketing
Covers marketing principles and the functions of marketing as an integral
aspect of the life and health insurance industry.
Examinations
are offered through LOMA on paper twice a year (May and November).
