AIAF 400 provides a detailed study of statutory accounting practices as applied in life and health insurance companies, an analysis of how those principles compare with generally accepted accounting principles, a review of the planning, budgeting, management reporting, multiple company ownership, and asset/liability matching aspects of an insurer's operations, and the differences and similarities among U.S. and Canadian accounting principles.

Note: Both rigorous and technical, AIAF 400 assumes that you have a prior background in insurance accounting and finance. LOMA strongly recommends that you complete LOMA 361 and all other LOMA and AICPCU/IIA courses assigned in the AIAF Program before enrolling for this course.

 

Note: The AIAF 400 examination is administered only via I*STAR at participating member companies and select Prometric Testing Centers. If your company does not offer exams via I*STAR and you would like to enroll in this course, please contact LOMA's Office of the Registrar.
