Report Description
An Activity Report is a one or two-page reports describing any company
occurrence of potential interest to other members of the committee. It usually
presents information about an innovations, change, new ideas, company practices
and/or initiatives that might help others. The subject matter may concern a new
or improved system, procedure, form, piece of equipment, communication
technique, workflow, systems tool or any other subject pertinent to the area of
Human Resources.
For each committee meeting, committee members
prepare at least one, perhaps two activity reports which describe their
company's work.
Activity Reports and the discussions which ensue
provide a great opportunity for idea exchange. The principal functions of the
Activity Reports presented at the committee are to:
- promote the exchange information and ideas
among the committee members;
- identify areas in which the committee may want
to do further study or research;
- provide information to the LOMA membership
through activity reports and other publications;
Activity Reports are made available to the LOMA
membership through Resource magazine and LOMA's Information Center. You have
access to the Activity Reports submitted to LOMA by any committee member of any
LOMA committee simply by requesting LOMA’s
Information Center to research a particular topic of interest.
